This bundle includes the materials for the Klinkhamer. The bundle includes 25 hooks but the other materials are plenty to tie many more! Just add additional hooks to your order.
The Klinkhamer, sometimes spelled Klinkhammer and originally called the "Klinkhåmer Special" was created by Dutch fly tyer Hans van Klinken in the 1980s. What sets it apart from other parachute-style patterns is the curved body that sits down under the water as opposed to floating on top, resembling an insect that is caught in the surface film and will be an easy meal for a hungry trout.
They can be tied in a variety of colors to mimic the local insects by switching out body material and hackle color. Here we are using Textreme Bug Wool instead of the traditional fine synthetic dubbing. This makes it very easy to create a slim, uniform body.
