Iris Caddis Bench Bundle

Bench Bundles are a convenient way to acquire all the materials needed for a fly pattern at a discount.

This bundle includes the materials for the Iris Caddis. The bundle includes 25 hooks but the other materials are plenty to tie many more! Just add additional hooks to your order.

The Iris Caddis was designed by Craig Mathews and mimics an emerging caddis fly that has gotten crippled and stuck in the surface film. The bubble loop wing provides buoyancy and improves visibility. The Hare's Mask dubbing lets the fly sit low in the water but still provides a very buggy and natural appearance.

The Iris Caddis is mostly tied with a natural dubbing body and a light colored wing and shuck, but it's worth it to try other colors for the body (such as olive or brown) and wing. Or use our Amber Emerger Yarn for both the shuck and wing. The variations are endless.
